AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX FOR PENSION INCOME AND SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the personal income tax on pension income and Social Security benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt pension income and Social Security benefits from the personal income tax.
