AN ACT CONCERNING A SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR TAMPONS AND SANITARY PADS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to provide a sales tax exemption for tampons and sanitary pads.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt tampons and sanitary pads from the sales tax.
