AN ACT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF GRANTS AWARDED UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-705 of the general statutes be amended to (1) reduce by fifty per cent the amount of grants awarded under the Citizens' Election Program, and (2) credit such reductions to the resources of the General Fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the amount of grants awarded to candidates participating in the Citizens' Election Program.
