2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit the candidate committee of any candidate for nomination or election who does not have an opponent from receiving a grant under the Citizens' Election Program, and (2) credit any such grant that would have been paid if such candidate had an opponent to the resources of the General Fund.
