AN ACT WAIVING THE REGISTRATION RENEWAL FEE FOR VETERANS WHO ARE QUALIFYING PATIENTS FOR THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 21a-408d and 21a-408m of the general statutes be amended to waive the Department of Consumer Protection's fee for any veteran for the renewal of his or her registration as a qualifying patient for the palliative use of marijuana.

Statement of Purpose: 

To waive the annual registration renewal fee for veterans currently registered as qualifying patients for the palliative use of marijuana.
