AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT KELLY MIDDLE SCHOOL IN NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 10-286 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Administrative Services pursuant to said section concerning the calculation of grants using the state standard space specifications, the town of Norwich may use one hundred thirty-seven thousand four hundred forty-four square feet as the maximum square footage for the renovation and extension project (Project Number 104-0112 RNV/E) at Kelly Middle School for purposes of calculating eligible costs for a school building project grant.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the town of Norwich to use one hundred thirty-seven thousand four hundred forty-four square feet as the maximum square footage for purposes of calculating the grant for the school building project at Kelly Middle School.
