AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE SALES AND USE TAX ON WATER COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-412 of the 2016 supplement to the general statutes be amended to restore the exemption from the sales and use tax on water companies.
Statement of Purpose:
To restore the sales tax exemption for private water companies which was repealed by public act 15-244.
