AN ACT PHASING OUT THE STATE PORTION OF THE REAL ESTATE CONVEYANCE TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 223 of the general statutes be amended to phase out the state portion of the real estate conveyance tax by one per cent per year beginning in 2016.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax relief by phasing out the state portion of the real estate conveyance tax.
