2424 AN ACT REQUIRING THE DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN RECORDS OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2016) Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 47 of the general statutes, any foundation that is or has been established for The University of Connecticut shall disclose as a public record, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes, the following: (1) All wages and salaries paid to the staff or faculty of the university; (2) the identity of any person, firm or corporation or other entity donating funds or other things of value to the foundation, unless the donor has requested that such donor's identity not be publicly disclosed; and (3) the schedule for any naming right tied to the amount of funds donated, including, but not limited to, the naming of buildings and department chairs.
