| 26 | 26 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

(NEW) (Effective October 1, 2016) The State Treasurer shall calculate the amount of tax imposed pursuant to section 12-541 of the general statutes, as amended by this act, on the admission charge to any athletic event presented by a class AA minor league baseball team at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford on and after the date such admission charge is payable under section 12-541 of the general statutes, as amended by this act. The State Treasurer shall make such calculation on at least a quarterly basis and shall transfer the amount of such calculation from the General Fund to the Hartford minor league baseball stadium account established pursuant to section 2 of this act. | |

(NEW) (Effective October 1, 2016) There is established an account to be known as the "Hartford minor league baseball stadium account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account may contain any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account. The moneys in the account shall be allocated by the State Treasurer to the city of Hartford for the purpose of reducing indebtedness incurred to build a stadium in Hartford for events presented by a class AA minor league baseball team. The State Treasurer shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the city of Hartford for the distribution and use of such moneys. | |
