AN ACT CONCERNING UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the enactment of new or expanded state mandates on municipalities unless the state fully funds the costs to local government.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities relief from unfunded mandates.
