AN ACT CONCERNING PENSION AND HEALTH CARE BENEFITS FOR STATE EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS EXEMPT FROM CLASSIFIED SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to convert all state employees and officials exempt from classified service to a defined contribution pension plan and health savings accounts.
Statement of Purpose:
To help reduce the overall cost of the state employee workforce in Connecticut.
