AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTION DAY REGISTRATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-19j of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary of the State to establish and implement procedures to audit (1) election day registration applications accepted, and (2) confirmation notices of such accepted applications sent by and returned to registrars of voters.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the audit of election day registrations and subsequent confirmation notices of such registrations.
