AN ACT CONCERNING IMPROVED PUBLIC ACCESS TO CERTAIN BUSINESS RECORDS FILED WITH THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 33 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commercial Recording Division of the office of the Secretary of the State to make enhancements to the state's electronic business portal in order to allow improved public access to information relating to the officers of corporations and the members of limited liability companies.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commercial Recording Division of the office of the Secretary of the State to make enhancements to the state's electronic business portal in order to promote business transparency.
