AN ACT EXEMPTING LEASED MUNICIPAL PROPERTY FROM TAXATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to expand the local property tax exemption for municipal property to include real and personal property leased to a municipality that is used for a public purpose and located within the municipality, including taxable motor vehicles.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the local property tax exemption for municipal property to include real and personal property leased to a municipality that is used for a public purpose and located within the municipality.
