AN ACT CONCERNING A PILOT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 133 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Housing, acting in consultation with the Commissioner of Developmental Services, to create a pilot supportive housing program to allow adults with developmental disabilities to live in a community setting and have access to services specific to their needs.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide supportive housing and easily accessible services to adults with developmental disabilities.
