AN ACT CONCERNING THE LICENSING OF FOOD VENDORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Public Health to collaborate with local health directors to develop a process that will allow for licensure by reciprocity of a food vendor who (1) is licensed or certified by a local health department or district to operate as a food vendor in a particular local health district, and (2) seeks to operate as a food vendor in a different local health district.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the development of a process for licensure by reciprocity of food vendors licensed by a local health department.
