AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF A NUMBER PLATE TO COMMEMORATE STATE PARKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall issue commemorative number plates of a design to enhance public awareness of the state parks and forests and that a fee shall be charged for the issuance of such number plates that shall be in addition to the regular fee or fees prescribed for the registration of a motor vehicle and that shall be used to pay the administrative cost of issuing such number plates and the operation and maintenance of the state parks and forests.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a commemorative number plate recognizing state parks and to provide for the operation and maintenance of state parks.
