AN ACT PLACING A TWO-YEAR MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN TAXES AND FEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to place a two-year moratorium on one hundred fifty taxes and fees, and to require the Commissioner of Revenue Services to submit a report at the conclusion of such moratorium to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding. Such report shall include a review of the taxes and fees placed on the moratorium and any revenue losses or gains resulting from such moratorium.

Statement of Purpose: 

To place a moratorium on certain taxes and fees and determine the revenue loss or gain resulting from such moratorium.
