AN ACT LIMITING WAGE INCREASES UNDER BINDING ARBITRATION AWARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to limit general wage increases under binding arbitration awards to no more than the rate of increase of any Social Security cost-of-living adjustment in effect.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a reasonable cap on wage increases under binding arbitration awards.
