AN ACT CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY OF BUDGET-RELATED INFORMATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-36b of the general statutes be amended to require that the information submitted by the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and the director of the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis projecting, among other things, revenues, budget deficiencies, tax credits, bond authorizations and Budget Reserve Fund balances for the current biennium and subsequent fiscal years be submitted on or before October first annually, rather than on or before November fifteenth annually.
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the time for the annual submission of budget-related information by the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and the director of the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis.
