AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF TUITION INCREASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require that any tuition increase at a public institution of higher education be allocated solely toward expenditures made directly for the students and prohibit such increase from being allocated toward expenses for the administration of such institution of higher education.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure proper funding of students at institutions of higher education.
