AN ACT CONCERNING MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Public Health to develop an early intervention program to identify children who are in need of or currently receiving mental, emotional or behavioral health services in order to improve upon the provision of such services to children.
Statement of Purpose:
To strengthen the provision of mental, emotional and behavioral health services to children.
