AN ACT EXCLUDING OVERTIME PAYMENTS FROM THE CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME OF STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude payments of overtime from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining a state employee's highest three years of pay.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate overtime in the calculation of a state employee's highest three years of pay when determining retirement calculations.
