AN ACT CONCERNING SECURITY FREEZES ON MINOR CHILDREN'S CREDIT REPORTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 36a-701a of the general statutes be amended to (1) allow the parent or guardian of a minor child to place a security freeze on such minor child's credit report, and (2) require credit rating agencies to waive fees associated with such security freezes.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the credit of minor children.
