AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT BROOKFIELD HIGH SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (b) of section 10-283 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Administrative Services pursuant to said section 10-283 authorizing the Commissioner of Administrative Services to approve applications for grants to replace roofs, the Commissioner of Administrative Services shall approve an application for a grant and make payments thereon, within the limit of appropriated funds, for a roof replacement project at Brookfield High School, provided the town of Brookfield files an application for such roof replacement project in accordance with the provisions of said subsection (b) of section 10-283 prior to June 30, 2018, and meets all other provisions of chapter 173 of the general statutes or any regulation adopted by the Department of Administrative Services or the State Board of Education.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Administrative Services to approve an application for a roof replacement project at Brookfield High School.
