AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO DECIDE COMMERCIAL PROJECT APPLICATIONS WITHIN NINETY DAYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to either (1) issue a decision on commercial project applications within ninety days of receiving such application; or (2) issue a status report to the commercial project applicant within ninety days of such application and include the reasons why additional time is necessary and an estimate for a date of decision.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce delay in the issuing of decisions on commercial project applications.
