Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2017) Notwithstanding the provisions of the general statutes, for each commercial project application, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection shall, not later than ninety days after receipt of such application, either: (1) Issue a decision on such application, or (2) issue a status report to the commercial project applicant that includes the reasons why any additional time is required for a decision and an estimate of the date for decision on such application.
