AN ACT INCREASING THE THRESHOLD REQUIRED FOR PASSAGE OF EMERGENCY CERTIFIED BILLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the approval of three-fifths of the members of both chambers of the General Assembly for passage of emergency certified bills.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the use of emergency certification.
