AN ACT CONCERNING THE WAITING LIST FOR THE MEDICAID HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED WAIVER PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a minimum of one hundred people to be removed from the waiting list for the Medicaid home and community-based waiver program administered pursuant to section 17b-283 of the general statutes and qualify for the waiver using the savings generated from the privatization of group homes run by the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To use the savings generated from the privatization of group homes to move one hundred people off of the waiting list for the Medicaid home and community-based waiver program.
