AN ACT EXPANDING TRANSPARENCY IN COSTS OF MEDICAL SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to encourage hospitals, within available funds and resources, and physicians to make available to patients information related to the costs of services they provide in order to enable patients to make informed decisions regarding such services.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand transparency in the costs of medical services.
