AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OF PUPPIES IN PET STORES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale of puppies in pet stores.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect dogs and customers by prohibiting the sale of puppies produced by out-of-state puppy mills in Connecticut pet stores.
