AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO PROHIBIT THE ERECTION OF SPITE FENCES AND SPITE HEDGES AND TREES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-148 of the general statutes be amended to authorize towns to enact ordinances to prohibit the erection of spite fences and spite hedges and trees that are intended to obstruct a neighbor's water views.
Statement of Purpose:
To enable towns to regulate the erection of spite fences and spite hedges and trees.
