AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR LITERACY ITEMS PURCHASED BY TEACHERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended by establishing a tax credit, not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars, against the personal income tax for literacy items purchased by teachers for their classrooms.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a tax credit against the personal income tax for literacy items purchased by teachers for their classrooms.
