AN ACT CONCERNING LIMITING THE USE OF PUBLIC ASSISTANCE BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to limit the types of items persons can purchase with public assistance benefits to the extent such limitations are permissible under federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that public assistance moneys are used for necessities.
