AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE REVIEW OF JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-40 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the General Assembly shall have not less than sixty days following the date on which the Governor submits a judicial nomination to the joint standing committee on the judiciary to act on such judicial nomination.
Statement of Purpose:
To give the legislature sufficient time to provide advice and consent on judicial nominations.
