AN ACT REQUIRING COOPERATION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL IN THE ENFORCEMENT OF FEDERAL LAW.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any local or state government official or employee of a public institution of higher education from interfering with or impeding the ability of any local, state or federal law enforcement personnel to carry out their respective duties in the enforcement of federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To require local and state officials and employees of public institutions of higher education to cooperate with law enforcement personnel in the enforcement of federal law.
