2424 AN ACT CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS AND SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL BUSINESSES.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to update the base wage threshold triggering eligibility for unemployment benefits, to adjust such base wage threshold annually based on inflation and to exempt agricultural employers from participation in the unemployment compensation system unless their employees satisfy the base wage threshold for at least two consecutive quarters in a calendar year.
