AN ACT CONCERNING ANNUITY PAYMENTS FOR GOLD STAR PARENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 27 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any gold star parent of a veteran who has lost his or her life, as identified in 10 USC 1126, may apply to the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs for an annual annuity payment of two thousand dollars and receive such payment upon approval by said commissioner.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow gold star parents, as identified by federal law, to receive an annuity of two thousand dollars each year.
