AN ACT STREAMLINING THE PROCESS FOR OUT-OF-STATE EDUCATORS TO OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to streamline the process for a teacher or administrator who was educated or teaching in another state to obtain professional certification.
Statement of Purpose:
To create more opportunities for boards of education to hire teachers and administrators from other states.
