AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DUAL LANGUAGE MAGNET SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision (1) of subsection (b) of section 10-264l of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Education shall authorize the establishment of a dual language interdistrict magnet school that provides English and Spanish instruction to students in grades preschool to eight, inclusive, and such magnet school shall be operated with Eastern Connecticut State University as a partner.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand and enhance educational opportunities.
