AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TEACHER CERTIFICATION RECIPROCITY PROGRAM WITH NEIGHBORING STATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to establish a reciprocity certification program to allow teachers and administrators from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York to work in Connecticut.
Statement of Purpose:
To create more opportunities for boards of education to hire teachers and administrators from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York.
