AN ACT CONCERNING OPIOID PRESCRIPTION DRUG LABELS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that a written statement concerning the safe disposal of prescription drugs and the locations of nearby prescription drug collection boxes be provided to the patient when an opioid drug prescription is dispensed to the patient.
Statement of Purpose:
To require language concerning the safe disposal of prescription drugs and nearby locations of prescription drug collection boxes be dispensed with every opioid prescription.
