AN ACT DESIGNATING MARCH AS CONNECTICUT MAPLE MONTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to designate the month of March of each year as Connecticut Maple Month to recognize the continued contribution of maple producers in the state who perpetuate a cherished New England tradition and who positively impact our economy, environment and way of life.

Statement of Purpose: 

To designate the month of March as Connecticut Maple Month.
