AN ACT PROHIBITING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FROM REQUIRING THE CONSOLIDATION OF MUNICIPAL HEALTH AUTHORITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Public Health from requiring the consolidation of municipal health authorities into district department of health.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the existing health district structure to be maintained.
