AN ACT CONCERNING LIMITATIONS ON THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (b) of section 14-36m of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles from issuing a special motor vehicle operator's license to an applicant who has been convicted of a felony in any state.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit applicants who have been convicted of a felony in any state from obtaining a drive-only license.
