AN ACT EXCLUDING OVERTIME PAY TO STATE EMPLOYEES AND MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENTS TO LEGISLATORS FROM THE CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exclude overtime payments to state employees and reimbursements received by legislators for mileage from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude overtime pay and legislative mileage allowances from the calculation of state pensions.
