28 | 28 | That part V of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to restrict the length of special education hearings to a maximum of three days, and establish policies and procedures for standards of practice for such hearings, including, but not limited to, procedures to ensure consistency among hearing officers, an oversight mechanism for supervisory review, consistency of rulings and logic of decisions, and standards for advocates and outside evaluators. | |
