AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM THE PROPERTY AND SALES TAXES CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY USED BY RETAILERS TO COMPLETE THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF PAINT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the property tax and the sales tax equipment and machinery used by retailers to complete the manufacturing process of paint, including equipment and machinery used to determine the formula of and mix the color of paint.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the property and sales taxes equipment and machinery used by retailers to complete the manufacturing process of paint, including equipment and machinery used to determine the formula of and mix the color of paint.
