AN ACT CONCERNING THE ASSAULT OF A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 952 of the general statutes be amended to provide an enhanced penalty for the assault of a retired police officer, provided such officer was not engaged in behavior that could reasonably be viewed as provoking such assault.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect retired police officers.
